An opportunity for a Seismic Source Technician to join a unique source crew operating on Life of Field projects. The vacancy is a field position working a nominal 5 week on/off rotational basis, working on average 183 days offshore in a 12 month period.
The position requires a good working knowledge of the operation and maintenance of source system components including compressors (LMF), air guns (Bolt APG / LLX) and associated pneumatic and electrical infrastructure, combined with experience of working with and developing safe working procedures in compliance with the company and client safety management systems.

The position requires experience and familiarity with commercial cable laying and recovery techniques. eg: seismic Ocean Bottom Cable (OBC), telecommunications, power cable operations combined with experience of working with and developing safe working procedures in compliance with the company and client safety management systems.
