WGP would like to thank all the visitors to their stand who made the 2010 EAGE exhibition in Barcelona such an enjoyable success. With over 5,000 delegates attending the show over its four day course the WGP team never had a quiet moment. The annual EAGE show is an ideal location to meet new, existing and potential clients and to help gauge the state of the E&P market.
The recent confirmation of two Life of Field Seismic (LoFS) contracts awarded to WGP by BP and AIOC (Valhall, North Sea; ACG, Caspian Sea) generated major interest but were by no means the only points of discussion. Other opportunities discussed included new Ocean Bottom Seismic (OBS), niche-2D Exploration and Geophysical Project Management. Questions were answered, meetings were held and new acquaintances were made.
