WGP offers this cost efficient survey method which can be used effectively for oil and gas exploration in a time when the need to discover new and unexploited hydrocarbon reserves is resulting in frontier exploration in the world's less hospitable regions.

Examples of our previous work include:

• Libya: WGP was the first company back in to acquire seismic in this area following the lifting of trade restrictions in 2004.


• Somaliland: With thorough preparation and planning, in 2008 WGP acquired an extensive regional 2D marine survey along the Somaliland coast without incident, maintaining the company’s stringent HSE record.


• Canada/Greenland: The first commercial 2D seismic vessel to shoot long-offset seismic across the whole of Baffin Bay was completed by WGP, avoiding numerous icebergs along the way. Successful survey campaigns were completed in two successive seasons in 2007 & 2008.
